We are at Claire’s house for dinner this evening, and she has wowed us with her culinary skills, roasting a chicken with no less than 100 cloves of garlic. Far from knocking you out before you’d even tucked in, it was absolutely sublime. If you’re interested in checking out the recipe, it’s in one of the Leon cookbooks, although I’m not sure which one! ‘The Stinking Rose’, by the way, is the name of a restaurant in San Francisco where everything, even the ice cream, is garlic flavoured!
