I have just about mastered the art of giving myself a decent manicure without making too much of a mess, but nail art was something new to me that I had not tried before. Using Gem Fatale’s pretty much foolproof polka-dot technique, I have given this pastel look a go. The colour contrast isn’t quite as striking as I’d like, and I’ll need a little more practice to get the dots uniform, but at the same time I do quite like the randomness of the dot sizes. Excuse the messiness, but no-one’s perfect, eh?!
By the way, colours are Models Own Lilac Dream and Barry M Mint Green.
