A couple of weeks ago, Dan and I headed up to Derbyshire for the wedding of a schoolfriend, Geroge, and his lovely girlfriend (now wife), Robyn.  The ceremony took place at Thorpe Church, with the evening do being held at Ilham Hall, a Victorian stately home now run by the YHA.  Despite it being a grown-up type of event, it was one of those weekends that made me feel like I was 18 again.  Games of Articulate, drinking and eating on Saturday, and large swathes of hungover people looking daunted by a full English breakfast in the dining hall on Sunday.  Here are a few pictures of the weekend.  Derbyshire really is a beautiful, romantic county: the perfect place for a summer wedding!
